We currently serve the Outer Banks, Currituck mainland areas, Dare mainland areas and all of northeastern North Carolina . We are also licensed in Virginia. I am a current resident of Harbinger and we love our community! We live and work where you live and work and we love Currituck and the Outer Banks just like you do! I am a member of the Currituck Chamber of Commerce and Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce and an affiliate member of the Outer Banks Homebuilders Association.

Before becoming a State Farm Insurance agent, I gained 13 years of insurance experience as I worked for State Farm in the Charlottesville, VA Regional Office as well as the Virginia Beach Claims Office. During these years, I saw firsthand State Farm’s desire and ability to help people when they needed it the most. I personally settled claims for people who were struggling with the total loss of a vehicle and sadly, sometimes much worse when I guided them through a death or medical claim. Because of State Farm’s significant financial strength, we can be confident they will continue to provide in times of need. I knew this was the company I wanted to work with and whose products I wanted to provide to my customers and community. I opened my agency doors on January 1, 2008 and have been helping customers ever since. I am thrilled to have the privilege of owning a business in our community!

I am dedicated to lifelong learning - School is never out! I graduated from James Madison University as a Finance major with a Bachelors Business Administration degree. Upon entering my insurance career, I obtained my Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College of Financial Services in 2001. In 2007, I obtained my Chartered Property and Casualty (CPCU) designation from The American College of Financial Services. And in 2019, I obtained my Chartered Financial (ChFC) designation from The American College of Financial Services.
